2/52 Week Challenge - schedule

Just want to start off by saying that I'm sorry for already falling behind... or have I?! The answer to that is both yes and no.

Have I been posting something every week like I was supposed to? no. So in that respect I'm sorry but in my defense, it felt weird to post something on my art blog that wasn't art, visual art. The beginning of this process has been very and primarily meditative in nature and as a result I don't have much to show for it, but I do have something.

And that brings me to the happy "yes". I can't show you the development ideas because that would completely ruin the idea of making a comic but I can prove that the ideas exist... sort of... hopefully is what you get out of it... ANYWAYS HERE IT IS!

There is even more in my sketch book not to mention my head but you know... I thought this was enough blurry words for today and the blog. Also listed are the other ideas I had for comics that I felt were more "casual" in nature and that's not what I was in the mood for, though it maybe in the future because I still like the concept.

Man, I sure hope that stuff is illegible.

This is how I was going to plan on releasing everything. It's very likely that it may change in some direction or the other but this is what seems manageable right now. Do to the underlying world and the whole story arc that will need to be written if not at least developed to some degree, I am planning on releasing the first "chapter" or "book" or whatever it ends up being by the end of the year. It seems achievable and that's the most important thing about this for me, getting started!

I am going to "catch up" on this schedule by posting more frequently for the next week or so until I settle into a nice weekly update of stuff. I'm thinking Mondays...

How does the schedule look to everybody? Possible?

Thanks,
Kal

  1. It looks doable. Even if you don't stick to your schedule the important thing is that you're doing something regularly.

I'm also behind so don't feel badly about that! Catch up day is tomorrow.
